Welcome to USAULT.com! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you ("Customer" or "Renter") and USAULT, governing your use of our website and rental services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 21 years old (or meet state/local rental age requirements) and hold a valid driver’s license.
- Additional age and experience requirements may apply for luxury or specialty vehicles.
2. Reservations & Payments
- A valid credit or debit card is required for all bookings.
- Full or partial payment may be required at the time of booking.
- Deposits may be required and will be refunded upon vehicle return, subject to inspection.
- USAULT reserves the right to cancel reservations due to non-payment, fraudulent activity, or failure to meet eligibility requirements.
3. Vehicle Use & Restrictions
- Vehicles must be used for lawful purposes only.
- Off-road driving, racing, towing, or reckless driving is strictly prohibited.
- Renters are responsible for any damages, fines, tolls, or violations incurred during the rental period.
- Smoking and unauthorized modifications to the vehicle are prohibited. Cleaning fees may apply for excessive dirt or odors.
4. Insurance & Liability
- Renters must carry valid auto insurance or purchase coverage from USAULT.
- Renters are financially responsible for damages beyond normal wear and tear.
- In the event of an accident, the renter must notify USAULT and local authorities immediately.
- USAULT is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings left in the vehicle.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the rental start time may qualify for a full or partial refund.
- No-shows and last-minute cancellations may not be eligible for refunds.
- Refunds are subject to processing times and may take several business days.
6. Late Returns & Additional Fees
- Late returns may incur additional hourly or daily charges.
- Vehicles returned in unsatisfactory condition may be subject to cleaning or damage fees.
- Unauthorized extensions of rental periods may result in legal action or reporting the vehicle as stolen.
7. Copyright & Intellectual Property
- All content on USAULT.com, including text, images, and branding, is protected by copyright laws.
- Users may not reproduce, modify, or distribute content without permission.
8. User Behavior & Website Use
- Users must not engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity on our website.
- Hate speech, harassment, spam, or any form of misconduct is strictly prohibited.
- USAULT reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating our policies.
9. Modifications to Terms
- USAULT reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina/Guilford County.
